Sufyan Al Zamil
Mr. Sufyan Al Zamil has more than 15 years of professional experience in various fields. He is currently managing a large investment project for building a modern shipyard in Dammam. He is involved in the management of various mega projects in oil and gas industry in Saudi Arabia and internationally. Mr. Al Zamil is a board member of a number of companies; including Zamil Offshore Services, Zamil Operations & Maintenance, Zamil Travel, Al Sharquia Oil Fields Services. He is also a member of the youth businessmen in the chamber of commerce of Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Al-Zamil holds an Executive MBA from Bahrain University, and Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from King Fahad University of petroleum and minerals, Saudi Arabia.
In 2011, Campden FB acknowledged Mr. Al Zamil as one of the rising stars below 40 years of age in the Family business representing a vast spectrum of enterprises internationally.
Mr. Al-Sharekh has over 21 years’ experience in global business development, with expertise and specialization in the IT and VC field. Initiated and executed targeted strategies to facilitate joint ventures, partnerships, startups, account generation and public listings of holdings in several capital financial markets including NASDAQ, KSE and DIFC. As CEO of Sakhr Software, he received 3 US patents from US PTO office for Sakhr’s proprietary technologies. Played key role in founding 1st Saudi Arabia ISP AWalNet which was acquired by STC in 2006. Developed the first Multilingual Speech to Speech app 'S2S', Language Buddy launched on the App Store in 2009 and was one of the first adopters of "The Cloud". Initiated and supervised the transformation of the 30 year old family IT business company and publicly listing the company on KSE in 2006 under the new name Al Alamiah Technology Group ATG.
Founded TechInvest in 2015 to provide an opportunity for Middle East investors to obtain exposure to private investment opportunities in the technology sector. Techinvest advised and structured several deals in early, growth and late stage VC totaling over $600m in money raised
Mr. Al-Sharekh is on the Advisory Board of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in the UAE, he is also a consultant at the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, KDIPA. Previously a Board Member and subsequently Chairman, of Al Mal Investment Company, which is listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, and served on several boards including ATG, Saftec, AwalNet. Mr. Al-Sharekh serves as a director on the Board of CODED.
Essam Saleh Al-Thukair
Mr. Thukair has 14 years of experience in the financial and investment sector, where he began his career in the Saudi Electricity Company in Human Resources, and then joined the Capital Market Authority responsible for daily trading in the Saudi market. He the joined the Saudi Industrial Development Fund - as credit consultant to manage a portfolio of 70 companies. Later he joined Al-Rajhi Capital, as Regional Director for the institutional asset management and investment. In 2015 he joined the Raz Holding Company where he served as chief financial officer of the group.
Mr. Al-Thukair holds a bachelor degree in Management Information Systems and an executive MBA.
Sulaiman M. Al-Rubaie
Mr. Al-Rubaie has more than 16 years of experience in merchant banking and private equity. He has a wealth of experience across many areas including advisory, mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets and restructuring.
He started his career with boutique investment bank, Brask and Company (Acquired by Kaupthing Bank), in their placement and later in their M&A team with a focus on the high growth industries. He then moved back to Kuwait to join the investment banking team at Global Investment House where he led and co-led the formation, placement, and strategic monitoring of companies in various sectors. He later joined Eastgate Capital Group, the private equity and real estate investment arm of National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia, in Dubai and was a member of their transactions team. He joined Global again in 2010 as Vice President in the alternative asset management group and managed the overall restructuring of the Private Equity department and the numerous funds. He was promoted to become Executive Vice President in 2015 and Deputy CEO in April 2017. Mr. Al-Rubaie is a member of the Frontiers Market and Middle East Councils of the EMPEA and is a board member of numerous companies in the GCC and the Levant.
Mr. Al-Rubaie received his MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
Faisal Mansour Sarkhou
Faisal Sarkhou joined KAMCO’s team in 2000 and was last promoted to lead KAMCO in the position of Chief Executive Officer in the first half of 2014 after heading the Corporate Finance Department from 2006 - 2010 and the Financial Services and Investment Division at KAMCO since 2010. Mr. Sarkhou is also the Chairman of Global Investment House as of September 2018. He has extensive experience of over 20 years in investment banking, asset management, financial products as well as financial services. Mr. Sarkhou commenced his career in the late ‘90s with KPMG Corporate Finance in Kuwait. He serves as a board member on several reputable companies and funds. He also sits on a number of company and investment management committees as well as being a board member and treasurer at the Union of Investment Companies in Kuwait and a member of the advisory board of the College of Business & Economics at the American University of Kuwait. Mr. Sarkhou is also a board member on the Industrial Advisory Board at the Australian College of Kuwait. He is an Economics graduate with honors from the University of Birmingham, UK and holds an EMBA with distinction from HEC Paris, France.
Sana A. Al-Hadlaq
Sana Al-Hadlaq joined KAMCO in 2002 and was promoted to lead KAMCO’s Wealth Management Team in the position of Chief Wealth Officer in 2016. Sana Holds a BSc. from Kuwait University in Political Science and General Administration. She also has various certifications and qualifications within wealth management and leadership roles. Prior to joining KIPCO Group in 2002, she worked with KUNA as the Head of Planning and Development Office for a period of 10 years. MS Al-Hadlaq has served over 17 years in KAMCO and she is a board member for a number of listed and unlisted companies in Kuwait and sits on a number of management committees. Her responsibilities revolve around wealth management, client advisory, fund raising, and offering potential investment opportunities. In turn, expanding KAMCO’s client base and establishing strong relationships with prospective investors including individuals, family businesses and institutions.
